temple grandin

is not a temple for worship or a place related to religion. it is a name of an autistic professor and doctor of animal science. her life is truly an inspiration for people who are special. her story was captured in a movie entitled after her name. her character was portrayed by claire danes. i thought she did a good job playing the role as temple. without knowing her early filmography, you'll have little appreciation of the effort she did for the movie.

the movie's drama is focused on the love of a mother who pushed herself to give her kid a shot in living a normal life. special people react differently in normal society. you will find the struggles are quiet different for these people and to cope with the society, they actually have their own way of buffering through circumstances. the funny and insiprational side of the story is temple's eagerness to pursue her passion.

who missed what?

missing two important meetings in a week means i need to do something to boost my internal human hard drive dedicated for reminding me of my schedules. i got away from the first meeting because i took the day ff on my bday. the second one, i'm just lucky i wasn't asked where i was!! there's no particular agenda which i was happy about. that means that there's no issue to discuss that needed me to explain some stuff. this week did not turn out to be smooth. however bad, food this week was superb - shrimp tempura, pesto pasta, ice cream,  chikaan lunch and yellow cab pizza plus tacos.. the last two (2) are free, that makes it even more pleasing. hihi..

happy halloween!

new do

i got tired of my long straight hair.. figured i play around with my hair. i had to say goodbye to my rebonded hair yesterday. why i did that was to fulfill a  promise - if greg finds a job, then.. i'll cut my hair short. it feels like a weight has been pulled out of me. when you see people with a new do, you'd always ask if he or she had just a major relationship fall down. not in my case... i'm blissful.
