overTime

for some odd reason i stepped up and told my boss that i'd make a video as part of awareness program of our sustainability goal. so here i am in the office shooting for some scenes that i'd be putting in the video. i was given a 2 weeks deadline to wrap it up. so, there it is.. instead of spending 10hours of sleep today, i had to wake up early and make sure i'd report before 9am which is not my usual time-in during weekdays. haha.. well, it something i am very much motivated to do now... until i have the fire in me burning, i should make use of it. i have a tendency to dump some stuff and get busy and interested with other stuff.. i forget about those "unfinished" business.. hehe goodluck to me!

post office update and my active life

got a note from cebu city post office this morning and i am so happy that my pickguard purchased over the internet thru ebay will be with me few days from now. i've not decided as to when i am going to pick up the parcel though. i am also not sure whether the parcel is in good condition but i hope it is not damaged. after i get the pickguard, i plan to visit the guitar maker which my friend referred me to. i can't wait to see the final product. i miss the feeling of being passionate towards music. i admit that i do not have much dedication in practicing my guitar playing these days because i am more engrossed in playing badminton. if not badminton, i've could've gone back with jogging and marathoning. hahaha.. i can't afford to sit and do non-sense when i know there are things i can do to loose weight. i am very concerned with my weight although many said that i've trimmed down, the scales don't lie and they show up the same figures that made me decide to be serious about exercise. my knee hurts when i play badminton, this maybe due to my heavy upper body built. i counted 3 days from the first day of tournament after i became comfortable with walking. i am straining my legs too much with the activities that i am in. i can't help it because i am enjoying it and i tend forget about how it bothers me until the day ends then tomorrow comes and getting up from bed is a lot of struggle. waaa...

hummingbird

hi avid readers! i thought i'd write something for April 'coz i don't want to leave it blank. i'm sharing you my dream guitar - gibson hummingbird.

the gibson hummingbird was first introduced in 1960. the vintage guitars are still available for sale and they cost a lot. that destroys my dream to ever acquire one, haha. what drawn me into its style is its unique shape of pick guard and the humming bird artwork.

i had a plan to buy an acoustic guitar ever since, so i thought why not find a maker that can produce a guitar of my own design. i did found one, with a help of a friend. i spent a lot of time looking for pickguards on ebay and found one, yey! the package is on its way here, so i'm hoping it wouldn't look cheap.
